The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to embark on their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows the region and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to head to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Seekers and Planners tables.

Fans can look forward to learning which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
